Before you submit your manuscript, we recommend that you check a few details in advance as they could save you time in the long run:

Check the author guidelines of your chosen journal.

Read the open access and data sharing policies for the journal, your institution and funders.

Make sure you have registered for your ORCID iD.

Ensure your manuscript is formatted according to the journal’s requirements.
